Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026. This notice describes the services currently active and what would change if optional measurement or advertising is enabled.
Calculator and device storage
Shift times, breaks, settings, names entered for printouts and pay rates are calculated in your browser. They are not sent to a Work Hours Desk application server. Auto-save is on by default and keeps the time card in your device's localStorage. Turn off “Save entries on this device” to delete saved entries; Clear also deletes them. Time display preference and one custom preset are stored on your device. Your browser can also retain normal history or form data.
Exports and contact
Copy, CSV and Print / Save as PDF use your browser and device. A downloaded or shared record is controlled by where you store or send it. The contact page opens your email app with a draft addressed to contact@workhoursdesk.com. If you send it, your mail provider handles delivery and the destination mailbox receives your message. The website cannot confirm delivery. Avoid sending private payroll documents.
Analytics and advertising status
There is currently no active GA4 measurement ID or AdSense publisher ID, and no Google analytics or advertising tags load. We do not claim that those services collect data today. If GA4 is enabled later, it will measure page views and broad calculator actions only after your analytics choice; entered times, pay rates, names and message text will not be included in events. You will be able to change that choice through the site's privacy control.
If AdSense is enabled later, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery and measurement, subject to the consent settings presented to you. You can manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center and learn about Google's ad data use in its Advertising Privacy & Terms. Before ads serve to visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the site will need an appropriate consent management platform and regional choices.
Hosting and rights
Our hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP address, browser details and logs to serve and secure the site. We do not control its retention from this page. You may clear your local data through the calculator or browser settings. The contact page provides the current way to ask about this notice.
